It's a natural desire to want to beautify your body and make yourself as attractive as possible. I view doing so as a healthy pursuit rather than vainity. You should feel good about how you look, and there's nothing wrong with striving to be your best self.
Regardless, feeling confident and looking sharp are very relevant to living in our society. Truth is, whether we like it or not, we live in a highly visual world, and investing in your image can go a long way in both your personal and professional life.
For my female clients, training for improved aesthetics and body shape involves toning your muscles so you look lean and firm. However, based on your personal goals, it can also involve building additional muscle on your backside and sculpting it to get that "J-Lo effect"...which many people find very appealing.
Other areas of importance or "trouble spots" for females are often the midsection, so we'll work on making it more tight and burning off excess body fat. Oftentimes the triceps can get a little saggy and the thighs a little chunky, so we'll work on tightening up those areas as well.
It's also very common for women to struggle with weight gain in general, and so that's another one of the areas I specialize in. Some female clients will come to me wanting to lose 50 or more pounds while others aren't overweight at all, but they just want to get more lean, firm, and toned.
And I've even had a handful of female clients over the years who wanted to get stronger and build more muscle.
So it all depends on your goals and how you want to look. Once I know exactly what you want, then I get to working on making it happen.
